“I play a character from the Indian Navy,” Vikranth on Gethu

Vikranth, who earned critical acclaim for his role in Suseenthiran’s Pandianaadu, will next be seen playing the villain in Udhayanidhi Stalin’s crime thriller Gethu, which is all set for Pongal release. “I play a very stylish character with just one dialogue. It’s not just the appearance of the character, but the way it has been designed is also very stylish,” says Vikranth.

“Since I play a character from the Navy, I had to look muscular. It’s a story about a sniper from Indian Navy MARCOS. Everything about this character has been handled with subtlety and restraint,” reveals Vikranth about his role.

Directed by Thirukumaran of Maan Karate fame, Gethu has Udhay and Amy Jackson playing the lead roles. It also has Sathyaraj in a pivotal role.
