Hot combo: Gautham Menon to direct Dhanush next

We had earlier reported here that Dhanush will wrap up his ongoing political drama Kodi, which also co-stars Trisha and Shamlee in the lead roles, on February 21st to start a new project. Now, the exciting update is Gautham Menon, who recently hosted the Mariyaan actor for a chat show, will direct Dhanush next. Sources suggest that Dhanush may finish this project before joining hands with Vetrimaaran for Vada Chennai. An official confirmation is awaited from the team.

Since Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram is planned to start rolling later this year, chances are highly likely that Gautham-Dhanush film will go on floors as soon as Dhanush wraps up Kodi with Durai Senthil Kumar. Anirudh is in talks to compose music for this yet-to-be-named project.
