Gautham Karthik raves about Priya Anand

Gautham Karthik is currently busy shooting for Vai Raja Vai directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. Priya Anand plays the female lead in the film with an ensemble cast of Vivek, Taapsee Pannu, Daniel Balaji, Manobala, Sathish and MS Bhaskar. The team is currently filming the final few portions in Goa inside casinos. “It’s not a complete gambling film. It’s about a happy-go-lucky who is dragged into the seedy underworld and how he survives,” says Gautham.

When asked about working with his co-stars in the film, “All these people are actors whose huge fan I am. Being new to the industry, it is really unnerving to work with them. Vivek sir plays a quite shocking role in the film, one that is totally unexpected,” added the Kadal actor. “Priya and I have become really good friends. She’s also helpful, super fun and sociable – in fact, she likes kids so much that she keeps playing with them on set. It’s an absolute pleasure to be her co-star,” raves Gautham when quizzed about his chemistry with the Vanakkam Chennai girl in the film.
