Acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is bringing his dream project to life with the highly anticipated Ramayana movie, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Produced on a massive scale by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus and the 8-time Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG, in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film is set to be one of the biggest mythological epics in Indian cinema. With a proven track record of hits like Dangal, Chhichhore, and Chillar Party, Nitesh Tiwari’s direction promises a visually spectacular and emotionally rich retelling of the timeless story.
The makers recently released an official glimpse of the Ramayana film, introducing its divine narrative. It begins with the Trimurti: Brahma the creator, Vishnu the protector, and Shiva the destroyer – and sets the stage for a celestial battle when their creation threatens the cosmic balance. With powerful visuals and gripping narration, the video teases a legendary clash: Rama vs Ravana, where Ranbir Kapoor portrays the righteous and sacrificial Rama, while Yash embodies the fierce and vengeful Ravana. Sai Pallavi in and as the graceful Sita, Sunny Deol as the mighty Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as the loyal Lakshman, the glimpse addresses.
The teaser highlights world-class VFX, crafted to global standards, and is elevated further by an epic score from A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The stunning visuals and emotional depth showcased in the preview have already set sky-high expectations for the project.
