Fahadh Faasil to dub himself for Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran

Director Mohan Raja has revealed that Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil, who is making his Tamil debut in Velaikkaran with the role of a baddie, will dub in his own voice for the film.

“There are both positive and negative shades in his character. He speaks lovely Tamil. He came on board without listening to the story. He listened to the narration only after he signed the project. The same goes for Sivakarthikeyan. That’s the trust they had in me,” says director Mohan Raja.

Produced by RD Raja’s 24 AM Studios, Velaikkaran has Nayanthara playing the lead heroine. Sneha, Prakash Raj, RJ Balaji, Robo Shankar and Prakash Raja form the supporting cast. Anirudh Ravichander composes music for the project.
