Eros Music grabs Yennai Arindhaal audio rights for 3 crores?

After the stupendous success of Kaththi and Lingaa, Eros Music, who is pioneering the audio business in Tamil Nadu, is looking forward to and said to be the front-runner for purchasing the audio rights of Ajith – Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal, which has music by Harris Jayaraj. A close source in the know reveals us that the deal is sealed for a whopping amount of 3 crores. There are also reports that Eros Music is yet to finish the paper work and an official announcement is likely to come soon. Eros Music’s upcoming albums include GV Prakash’s Darling and Thaman’s Tamilukku En Ondrai AzhuthavumThe audio of Tamilukku En Ondrai Aluthavum is scheduled this Friday (Nov 21st) and Darling is expected soon.

Harris Jayaraj has composed six songs for Yennai Arindhaal. The album is highly anticipated since it marks of the comeback of Harris and Gautham Menon after Suriya’s Vaaranam Ayiram. The Harris – Gautham combo has a reputation of delivering scintillating chartbusters everytime they team up and it has naturally raised the expectations of music buffs and cineastes. Gautham went on to work with AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraja post his rift with Harris. Produced by AM Ratnam, Yennai Arindhaal has an ensemble cast of Ajith, Anushka Shetty, Trisha Krishnan, Arun Vijay and Parvathi Nair.
