Director Mahendran plays villain in Vijay 59

There were unconfirmed reports few days back that veteran director Mahendran, who was roped in for Vijay 59, essays the role of antagonist in the film. However, sources from the unit denied to confirm it and maintained that they cannot reveal what character he plays in the film.

Now, a bankable source has confirmed that Mahendran will play the villain role in the film. He will be pitted against Vijay in this action-romance thriller which features Samantha and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. Directed by Atlee and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film has music by GV Prakash.
