Popular director makes controversial comment on VIP

Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattathari is already declared a super-hit and it continue to do good business in the trade. Elsewhere, popular Mollywood filmmaker Jude Joseph has faced the wrath of Dhanush fans for his controversial comment on the film. “It’s not VIP, it’s RIP. Sometimes reviews can get you in trouble,” posted Jude on his social media page and what followed was a flurry of abusive comments from Dhanush’s most ardent fans.

Jude Joseph only recently debuted as a director in the Malayalam film Ohm Shanthi Oshana starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles. “Dhanush is a great actor and I respect him for his performance. I just said I didn’t like the movie VIP. I donno why some guys called fans misusing my statement and spreading hatred,” clarified Jude Joseph later to pacify the fans.
