Despite having a low pre-release buzz, Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam has worked its way to a very good 7 crore opening day number in Tamil Nadu. The film picked up big time from its morning shows, and has enjoyed a very good audiences. Shows have already started filling out for the weekend, with theatres increasing their screen count owing to the positive reviews.
