Dhanush to play politician in his next?

Reports are rife that Dhanush, who dons dual act as two brothers in his upcoming yet-untitled project with director Durai Senthilkumar, will essay the role of a politician for the character of elder brother. Billed as a political thriller, Dhanush is said to be playing the role of a carefree youngster, a local rogue for the character of younger brother.

Shamilee will be paired opposite the younger brother and for the role of elder brother, the team has approached Lakshmi Menon and is waiting for her nod. The project will kick off in October and is expected to be completed by the end of December to pave way for Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai which is expected to go on floors in January.
