Dhanush’s Shamitabh nears completion

Dhanush’s Hindi film Shamitabh directed by R. Balki is nearing completion. The film is currently shooting the final schedule in Mumbai with only three days left to wrap up. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in lead roles, the film is slated to release on February 6th, 2015. The film also has Abhinaya of Nadodigal fame in an important role. While Dhanush essays the role of a deaf and mute, Amitabh Bachchan will play the voice of Dhanush throughout the film.

Raju Hirani of 3 Idiots fame, Gauri Shinde of English Vinglish fame, Karan Johar of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai fame,Mahesh Bhatt of Murder fame, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra of Rang De Basanti fame and Anurag Basu of Barfi fame will be seen doing brief cameos in the film. Eros International has bagged the worldwide distribution rights last month. It has music by Ilaiyaraja.
