Dhanush plays slum leader in Maari?

Contrary to earlier reports that Dhanush plays a north-Madras tailor in Maari directed by Balaji Mohan, latest reports suggest that Dhanush plays the leader of a slum in the city. A huge set resembling a slum has been erected for shooting the next schedule of the film. Sources say substantial portions of the film are planned to be shot here.
