Dhanush beats Rajinikanth and Samantha; joins Trisha, Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, ARR

Dhanush, one of the active celebrities on Twitter who regularly gives updates on his projects, has crossed 1 million followers on the social network and joined the elite club of A.R. Rahman (4.89 M), Shruti Haasan (1.42 M), Siddharth (1.178M) and Trisha (1.03 M). He has also beaten the likes of Rajinikanth, who has 919 K followers in less than a year and Samantha Ruth Prabhu who has 759 K followers in two years without any Bollywood tag to her career.

Dhanush has currently wrapped the Hindi film Shamitabh and is on a break. He is awaiting the release of KV Anand’s Anegan. He will move on to Balaji Mohan’s next untitled film and Vetrimaaran’s Soodhadi later this month.
