Demonte Colony 3 release date announced; Arulnithi returns for another chilling chapter
The third installment of the popular horror franchise is set for a September release, with Arulnithi returning as Ajay Gnanamuthu expands the saga.
The Demonte Colony 3 release date has finally been announced. The makers have confirmed that the much-awaited horror thriller will hit theatres on September 11th.
The announcement comes after the team successfully wrapped up the film’s shoot in April. Since then, the makers have been busy with post-production work to prepare the film for its theatrical release.
Director Ajay Gnanamuthu returns to lead the franchise once again. He made his directorial debut with Demonte Colony in 2015 and later expanded the horror universe with its sequel. Now, he is back to continue the story with the third instalment.
While the makers have not revealed the complete plot, the teaser has already created curiosity among fans. It introduced Guru Somasundaram as a mysterious character called The Librarian. The teaser hinted that a strange book in his possession unleashes terrifying events, setting the stage for another supernatural thriller.
Meanwhile, Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar return to play important roles in the film. Their presence has further increased expectations among fans of the franchise.
Apart from the lead actors, the film also features Antti Jaaskelainen, GM Kumar, Muthukumar, Sree Kumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Kathir, Ashiq Hussain, Sarjano Khalid, and Archana Ravichandran in supporting roles.
The technical crew includes several familiar names. Pattukkottai Prabakar has written the dialogues, while Sam CS has composed the music. After his work in Demonte Colony 2, the composer returns to elevate the horror experience once again.
In addition, Sivakumar Vijayan handles cinematography, while Kumaresh D takes charge of editing. PE Krishnamoorthi serves as the production designer, and Pradeep Dinesh oversees the action sequences.
The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram under the Passion Studios banner. Manish Singhal backs the project through Dangal Media, while Durgaram Choudhary produces it under the RDX TV banner. RC Rajkumar, Akshat Singhal, and Mohit Singhal are associated with the project as co-producers.
With the Demonte Colony 3 release date now officially locked, fans can look forward to another chilling chapter in the popular horror franchise. Given the success of the previous films, expectations are naturally high for the latest installment.
