D-Day for Lingaa tomorrow

After the division bench in the Madurai High Court dismissed aspiring filmmaker Ravi Rathinam’s petition, he filed a writ appeal in Madras High Court seeking an interim stay order against the release of the film. We reported about the story here. Now, Rajinikanth has filed a caveat application to prevent the Madras High Court bench from passing any interim order without hearing his stand on the story theft issue.

The case will come up for hearing tomorrow and Rajinikanth’s counsel Sanjay Ramasamy will elucidate his stand on the story theft. With only two days to go for release, all eyes are set on the jury’s decision tomorrow.
