Cuckoo director’s next with Dream Warrior Pictures

Journalist-turned-director Raju Murugan, who made his debut with the acclaimed Cuckoo, has quietly started shooting for his next untitled project. The movie has been bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures of Kashmora fame and will feature newcomers in the lead roles.

Sources say the team has been shooting since last month in Dharmapuri. The makers are planning to complete the shooting in a single schedule. The Next Big Film, which funded Cuckoo, is likely to produce Raju Murugan’s third feature if all goes well.
