Coolie: Pre-business of around 500 crores to be achieved, here’s what is happening!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie is plucking the attention all over, as the next big hyped film from Kollywood. The film is doing great business worldwide as its OTT rights have already gone for a record price of around 125 crores, followed by the overseas rights which are in excess of 75 crores. The asking price for the AP and TG rights of the film are around 45 crores, and it looks like a company has almost signed the project.

In addition to that, Coolie’s Kerala and Karnataka rights stand at 20 crores, while North India stands at 50 crores. In TN, the film has an asking price of 110 crores, which if not fulfilled by any distributor, will move into Sun Pictures’s usual release strategy through Red Giant.

Coolie is getting ready to have its massive promotional run with the single releasing today, the film is coming to cinemas on the 14th of August.
