Confirmed: Shruti Haasan on board Thala 56
Shruti Haasan has been confirmed as the female lead for Ajith’s upcoming film Thala 56 to be directed by Siva of Veeram fame. The team is likely to start shooting for the film early May. Shruti Haasan will make an official announcement regarding her participation in the project soon.
Produced by AM Rathnam, the film also has Santhanam to provide comic relief. Anirudh Ravichander will compose music. Kolkatta has been chosen as the primary backdrop for the film.
