Confirmed: Kamal Haasan plays cop role in his next

We have confirmed with a bankable source in the team that Kamal Haasan will indeed play a cop role in his next project Ore Iravu. The film will go on the floors soon. Earlier, Kamal Haasan scouted locations in Mauritius to shoot a major part of the film there. Now, the team has decided to shoot in India and only few scenes will be canned in Mauritius.

Produced by Raajkamal Films International, the film is directed by Kamal’s assistant Rajesh. The screenplay is written by Kamal Haasan and music will be composed by Ghibran. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead and Prakash Raj plays an important role.
