Cinematographer Thiru heaps praise on Suriya

Cinematographer Thiru who has worked in 24 has heaped praise on Suriya, the producer. “When you have a producer (Suriya) who understands the requirements of technology and does not look to cut corners, the cinematographer’s work becomes easy,” says Thiru, best known for his sterling camerawork in Kamal Haasan’s highly acclaimed Hey Ram. 

“I have shot 24 with the best camera — Arri Alexa — and used motion control and VFX, aspects that have really helped me in capturing the right tones and textures,” adds Thiru whose visuals have been the talk of social media platforms ever since the teaser and trailer were unveiled.

Directed by Vikram Kumar, 24 is all set for worldwide release on May 6th. The film features Suriya in a triple role and Samantha and Nithya Menen as lead heroines.
