“Blindly agreed to Rajinikanth film because of my trust in Karthik Subbaraj,” says Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the villain role in Rajinikanth’s next film with Karthik Subbaraj, has said that he agreed to do the project because of his trust and blind faith in the Iraivi director.

“I have not even listened to the story yet. Karthik is one of those filmmakers, whom I trust to the core. If they call, I wouldn’t think twice to act. I would just go to the spot and act. I’m looking forward to seeing Rajini sir perform live and learn a lot from him,” said Vijay Sethupathi.

The first schedule of the film is expected to begin from June 6th in Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Sources say it will be a long schedule before the team comes back to Chennai. Produced by Sun Pictures, the movie has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
