Banita Sandhu in talks for Dhruv Vikram’s Varma

Actress Banita Sandhu, who delivered an assured performance in Varun Dhawan’s Hindi film October, is in talks to play the lead heroine role in Varma, the official Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.

Director Bala’s version was dropped by the production house after the full shooting since the latter was not satisfied with the final output. Now sources say one of the directors who worked with Bala is likely to helm the film. Earlier, there were rumors that Gautham Menon is in talks to take over the project.
