Bakasuran is based on real-life incidents which I came across: Mohan G

17th February is not just having Vaathi as its sole release, but another interesting film in Bakasuran is also hitting the screens. The film is directed by Mohan G, known for his films such as Draupadi and Rudrathandavam.

At the press meet of the film, director Mohan G said “Bakasuran is based on real-life incidents that I came across in life. After the Covid-19 lockdown, I met a friend who was using an app where girls used to do anything they were told to do, for a mere sum of 200-400 rupees. They were being exploited to the limit, and the girls who were involved in this were in the age group of 18-25. Bakasuran speaks about these incidents and the measures that need to be taken at this time.”

The film features Selvaraghavan and Natty Nataraj in the lead roles, and has music composed by Sam CS.
