Arjun’s Jai Hind 2 has ‘education’ as its central theme

Acto-director Arjun is back to calling shots for his next film Jai Hind 2. When Jai Hind was released two decades back, Arjun was at the peak of his career and the film was a superhit thanks to its strong content on underworld terrorism. Arjun has opened up about his next directorial Jai Hind 2 to a daily and confirmed that the film’s central theme is education.

“I read about an incident that happened when former President Abdul Kalam visited a school. When he asked a kid about the future she envisaged for herself, the kid replied, ‘I want to live in a developed India’. This implies that the country still has many lacunae to be filled. Education is the key to development. So I wanted to make a film on how the common man would like the  ideal system of education to be,” says Arjun the backstory of his inspiration for the film. Jai Hind 2  has Arjun, Surveen Chawla and a newcomer named Simran in lead roles and Manobala, Brahmanandam, Mayilsami among others in important roles.
