AR Murugadoss recalls his fledgling days in the industry

At the press meet of Vijay Antony’s Pichaikkaran, hit machine AR Murugadoss recalled his fledgling days in the industry when he toiled hard for three square meals a day.  “Sasi’s victory is really really important to me. After watching the trailer and visuals of the film, I feel confident now. I can sense that Sasi is going to taste success in Pichaikkaran,” said AR Murugadoss.

“The time period when I decided to move on from being an assistant director to mark my directorial debut was very crucial. You would have no one to talk to; no one to feed your hunger and your pockets would be empty too. I met Sasi during this situation at AVM studios and told him that I’m planning to try as a director individually. Sasi wished all the best and rode off in his scooter. Then he stopped and said, ‘You have decided to try making your debut. You will run out of money. Call me anytime if you need help. Never stay hungry since you don’t have money. Don’t think twice or hold back to ask me anything’. It gave me immense strength to survive,” Murugadoss added.
