Anirudh records a song for Thaman
Composer Anirudh Ravichander is one of the sportive young talents in K’town who wouldn’t mind recording a song for his fellow composers despite of the busy schedule he’s already subjected to. Following the superb success of Mersalayitten for AR Rahman, which won appreciations from high-profile renowns like Vijay and Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh has now recorded a song for Thaman in Saahasam. With the addition of Anirudh’s name in the tracklist, the album has raised expectations for music lovers. It was only two days back Thaman has recorded Lakshmi Menon for a song. Thaman has composed five songs for the film featuring India’s popular voices singers including Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Goshal and Mohit Chauhan among others.
Produced by Thiagarajan and directed by debutant Arun Raj Varma, Saahasam is said to be the remake of Telugu blockbuster Julayi. Bollywood stunner Nargis Fakhri has grooved alongside Prashanth for an item number.
