Amala Paul plays a fisherwoman in Vada Chennai?

According to sources, Amala Paul will be essaying the role of a Royapuram-based fisherwoman in Vetrimaaran’s gangster trilogy Vada Chennai, which is currently advancing at a brisk pace in a sprawling jail set in Chennai.

Sources reveal that Amala Paul has been practising the body language, gestures and slang of the fishermen community in North Chennai for her role. Vada Chennai traces the life story of Dhanush’s character and the underworld of North Chennai over a period of three decades. Santhosh Narayanan composes music for the project. Andrea Jeremiah and Vijay Sethupathi have been roped in for pivotal roles.
