“Ajith has a social responsibility as a citizen”

Director Saran’s rapport with Ajith is well-known and it reflects quite well in his filmography too with super hit films like Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam to name a few. In a recent interview, Saran showers generous praise on his favorite actor. “Ajith sir’s image has grown so huge today, like a superhero image. He’s already reached a stage where he’s respected beyond his profession. He has a social responsibility as a citizen and he’s satisfying all kinds of audiences now. He’s the icon of Tamil Nadu,” said Saran.

Saran’s upcoming film is Aayirathil Iruvar with Vinay in the lead. It is slated to hit screens soon.
