After 2011, Karthi and Vijay to confront at the box office this Diwali?

Karthi and Vijay took each other head-on at the box office in 2011 when their films Siruthai and Kaavalan released. The former emerged as Karthi’s biggest hit in his career and the latter turned out to be a dud.

Now, after six years, reports are abuzz that Karthi’s Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is planning to release for Diwali this October alongside Vijay – Atlee’s much-anticipated Mersal, which features an all-star cast including Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, and Vadivelu. An official confirmation is awaited from Dream Warrior Pictures, the makers of TAO.
