Aelay skips theatres, goes to Star Vijay for direct TV premiere
Halitha Shameem’s next directorial in Aelay was set to hit theatres today, but a last minute change in the plans has shifted the film to a direct TV premiere on Star Vijay, on the 28th of February. Y Not Studios, the makers of the film, have announced that it will be slotted in the 3PM slot on the 28th of February, skipping theatres.
It is quite an interesting move from the makers, who feel that a direct TV premiere on Star Vijay will get them a better mileage. Aelay stars Samuthirakani and Manikandan in the lead roles.
