Aaranya Kaandam fame Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s next!

After making the most widely celebrated film of the decade in Tamil cinema in his debut few years back, director Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s second film is yet to materialise. His fan base is growing rapidly on one side and the frantic wait for his second film still continues on the other side. Now, the prospects for his next film look a little bright and hopeful than before. Earlier, it was reported that Sashikanth of YNOT Studios will fund Kumararaja’s next but the project never happened. Now, Sashikanth has confirmed in his recent interview that he will team up with Kumararaja for a quick film in the next six months.

“Y NOT is producing Kumararaja’s ambitious second film in Hindi… Inception is nothing compared to how smart it is… but it’s such a big film to make in scope that it will take us a year and a half just for pre-production. Since he hasn’t made anything since Aaranya Kaandam, I told him let’s make something else quickly and we’ll hopefully start shooting a quick film in the next six month,” says Sashikanth.
