Without further doubts, Mersal’s Aalaporaan Tamizhan has been declared as the most popular song of the year by maximum radio stations and online streaming platforms.
On leading platform Saavn, the song has been declared as the most played one, with Mersal too ending up as the most played Tamil album. Apart from Aalaporaan Tamizhan, the other hits such as Neethane, Macho and Mersal Arasan too have clicked with the folk.
On radios too, the song has topped almost all Top 10 or 20 countdowns, as they have declared it by saying that it is the song with most play counts.
