A certificate for Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai
The audio of director Bala’s Thaarai Thappatai has just been released in the penultimate week of December, to a superb response. Being Ilaiyaaraja’s 1000th film, music lovers have raved about the album all over, appreciating it in abundance.
However, reliable sources in the know have revealed that the film has got itself the ‘A’ certificate, due to the excessive violence it possesses. Bala and his team have now applied for a revision, for which the process has just been initiated.
Thaara Thappatai is scheduled for a Pongal release worldwide, with Ayngaran taking care of the distribution.
