“I decided to quit films,” says Vidyu Raman

Vidyu Raman, who has played Tuner Kausalya in the recently released VSOP, has earned immense appreciation from audiences for her role in the film. However, there was a time when Vidyu wanted to quit films before offers started to trickle in. “After Neethaane En Ponvasantham, I didn’t get as many offers as I expected to. I experienced a lull, and I decided to quit films. In fact, I wanted to study acting and theatre abroad.” reveals Vidyu.

“Somehow, Sundar C’s Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumarau happened and since then, there’s been no looking back. From Jilla, Veeram to the recently released  VSOP, I am glad that I am getting recognised well for what I am. I am even game for negative roles,” adds Vidyu who is awaiting the release of Vijay’s Puli.
