Vaalu in the final stage of shooting

Vaalu,  a romantic comedy starring Simbu and Hansika in the lead roles is nearing completion. The team is at the fag end of the shooting. The crew is all set to film a song in the exotic locales of Bangkok today featuring STR and the bubbly Hansika. Simbu’s character in the film is outspoken and forthright resembling his real-life character.

The film has been in the development stage for a long time and ran into a lot of financial trouble until SS Chakravarthy pulled it back together finally. The film is written and directed by Vijayachander and produced by SS Chakravarthy. It has music by Thaman. Much is expected of the film since it marks the first film for STR and Hansika after their infamous breakup.
