SK27: Sivakarthikeyan’s next film officially begins with Ramkumar at the helm
Sivakarthikeyan’s SK27, directed by National Award winner Ramkumar, has officially begun production, with Kayadu Lohar and Sai Abhyankkar reportedly joining the project.
Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SK27, has been officially announced by Sathya Jyothi Films. National Award-winning filmmaker Ramkumar, known for Parking, will direct the project, which has now commenced production.
The film is expected to be a commercial entertainer, with the makers planning to bring together an engaging story and mainstream elements. Reports suggest that Kayadu Lohar will play the female lead, while young composer Sai Abhyankkar is set to handle the music.
Sivakarthikeyan is reportedly expected to juggle the shooting schedules of SK27 and Seyyon. More details about the cast and the film’s storyline are likely to be announced by the makers as production progresses.
Meanwhile, Sathya Jyothi Films has several projects lined up. The production house is currently working on Power House, starring Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Anand Shankar.
The banner’s Lenin Pandiyan has also released today, adding another major release to its current lineup. The production house is also backing Irandu Vaanam, starring Vishnu Vishal and Mamitha Baiju, which is scheduled to hit theatres on October 23.
With SK27 now officially underway, the collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Ramkumar has added another interesting project to the actor’s upcoming lineup.
