The trailer of Vijay Sethupathi’s Baththa is out, giving audiences a better look at the film’s unusual world and the character played by the actor. Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, the film brings together the Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom actor-director duo once again. Lijomol Jose plays the female lead, while Sai Abhyankkar has composed the music.
Set in the 1980s, Baththa appears to follow Vijay Sethupathi in a character that takes him into a different space. The trailer presents him with a rougher appearance and hints at his transformation into a gangster. His character is shown alongside Lijomol Jose, who plays his wife, while their family life forms an important part of the narrative.
