Nayanthara and Kavin unveil Hi's new release date through a fun promotional video as Vishnu Edavan's romantic drama gears up for August 28 release.
After postponing its original release, the makers of Hi have now officially announced the film’s new theatrical release date. Starring Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead roles, the romantic drama is now scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on August 28.
The announcement was made through a fun promotional video featuring Nayanthara and Kavin. The light-hearted promo has already caught the attention of fans, while confirming the film’s revised release date after it was initially planned to arrive on August 14.
Directed by Vishnu Edavan, Hi marks the first on-screen collaboration between Nayanthara and Kavin. The film is expected to be a feel-good romantic entertainer that revolves around two neighbours whose lives become closely connected through an unexpected relationship.
Apart from the lead pair, Hi boasts an impressive supporting cast that includes the late K. Bhagyaraj, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Prabhu, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan, Amrutha Srinivasan, Adithya Kathir, Kureshi, FEFSI Vijayan, Kaavya Arivumani and Mirchi Kemy in important roles.
The film features music composed by Jen Martin, while Rajesh Shukla handles cinematography. Philomin Raj is the editor, and Sekar B serves as the art director.
Hi is jointly produced by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan under The Rowdy Pictures, along with SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio, in association with Zee Studios. With the new release date now locked, the makers are gearing up to bring the much-awaited romantic entertainer to theatres on August 28.
