Keerthy Suresh raises alarm over hyper real AI-generated images of herself
Keerthy Suresh addresses the rising wave of AI-generated images with concern, even as she prepares for the release of her action-comedy Revolver Rita on November 28th.

Actress Keerthy Suresh has spoken out candidly about the unsettling experience of seeing AI-generated images that appear eerily realistic and occasionally inappropriate. In a recent promotional interview, she described the technology as “both a boon and a bane,” stressing that while AI holds tremendous potential, it has also begun to override human control and invade personal boundaries.
Keerthy shared that she sometimes stumbles upon images on social media that feature her in outfits she never wore. “I pause to think, ‘When did I wear that?’” she confessed, only to realize later that the image is entirely AI-generated. Such encounters, she says, are deeply distressing and disorienting.
In one alarming incident, she came across a fabricated image showing her in an unflattering pose such a deviation from reality hit her hard. “It’s extremely irritating,” she said, adding that it hurts not just her, but her family as well when these doctored versions of her face circulate online. Keerthy emphasized that she does not understand what motivates people to create these edited or fully generated images, calling the trend troubling and risky in equal measure.
Of even greater concern to her is the deepfake potential: Keerthy revealed seeing AI-manipulated images of herself alongside fellow actor Samantha, crafted so convincingly that it seemed like they had posed together. These developments, she warned, are eroding trust in what people see, “and that’s scary.”
Keerthy’s comments come at a time when the misuse of AI in image creation is being increasingly scrutinized. Her voice adds to the growing call for regulation and ethical guardrails in the age of artificial intelligence.
On the professional front, Keerthy Suresh is gearing up for the theatrical release of Revolver Rita, which hits screens worldwide on November 28th. The film is positioned as an energetic action-comedy designed to showcase Keerthy in a vibrant, highly entertaining avatar. The trailer of Revolver Rita suggest that the actress is set to deliver one of her most spirited performances, blending sharp comedic timing with slick action sequences. With its quirky premise, colorful characters, and Keerthy leading from the front, Revolver Rita is shaping up to be a refreshing crowd-pleaser aimed at family audiences and fans eager to see her in a bold, unapologetically fun role.
