Inban Udhayanidhi onboard Red Giant Movies; acquires TN rights of Dhanush’s Idli Kadai

Inban Udhayanidhi begins new chapter as CEO of Red Giant Movies, acquiring TN rights for Dhanush’s upcoming film Idli Kadai.

Inban Udhayanidhi, son of renowned producer, distributor, actor, and Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, has officially taken charge as the CEO of Red Giant Movies – one of Tamil cinema’s most prominent production and distribution houses, originally founded by his father.

With Inban representing the next generation of the influential family, industry insiders anticipate a dynamic phase for the studio, marked by high-profile acquisitions and productions. Signaling a strong start, Red Giant Movies has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Dhanush’s awaited directorial venture, Idli Kadai, slated for a worldwide release on October 1st.

Idli Kadai features an impressive ensemble cast including Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, and Prakash Raj. The film is jointly produced by Dawn Pictures and Wunderbar Films, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Two tracks from the soundtrack have already been released and are gaining significant traction among fans.

Trade circles are abuzz with speculation that Inban’s first major production announcement could be the much-anticipated Rajinikanth – Kamal Haasan reunion film, to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, a historic collaboration happening after four decades.

With Inban Udhayanidhi now steering Red Giant Movies, the future looks promising for Tamil cinema. We wish him and his team continued success in this exciting new chapter.
