Director Venkat Prabhu, has revealed exciting details about his upcoming project with actor Sivakarthikeyan. Speaking at a recent event, the filmmaker confirmed that the project’s script work has been completed and that both Sivakarthikeyan and the producers are thrilled with the final draft.
“It’s going to be a very different kind of role for Sivakarthikeyan, something audiences haven’t seen from him before,” said Venkat Prabhu. “The character has shaped up really well. It’s a fun film that will appeal to all sections of the audience.”
This yet to be titled film is expected to showcase Sivakarthikeyan in a refreshing new light, promising a departure from his usual on-screen persona. The film’s music is likely to be composed by Anirudh, marking Venkat Prabhu’s first major collaboration with a composer outside his regular circle of Yuvan Shankar Raja and Premgi Amaren.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for the release of Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, which is slated to hit screens on September 5th. The actor is also wrapping up the final schedule of Parasakthi, his 25th film, helmed by Sudha Kongara. The much-anticipated project is targeting a grand release for Pongal 2026.
