Aamir Khan hosts Sitaare Zameen Par movie night for Coolie team after audio launch in Chennai
Aamir Khan made his presence felt in Chennai during the grand audio launch of Coolie, where he appears in a special cameo. But the celebrations didn’t stop with the event. Post-launch, Aamir turned host and treated the Coolie team to a surprise screening of his latest film Sitaare Zameen Par inside his vanity van.
The intimate movie night included key members of the Coolie crew – Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, composer Anirudh Ravichander, and Sun Pictures’ Kalanithi Maran. Photos shared by Aamir Khan Productions showed the group enjoying the film together, with Aamir even seen animatedly explaining scenes. The caption on the post read: “You say movie night, and your gang pulls up.”
Sitaare Zameen Par, which skipped an OTT release, is now available on YouTube for Rs.100. The screening served as a bonding moment for the team, though fans couldn’t help but notice Rajinikanth’s absence. Social media was quick to ask, “Where is Thalaivar?”
Earlier that evening, Aamir made a dramatic entry at the audio launch dressed as his character Dahaa, and a viral moment captured him respectfully trying to touch Rajinikanth’s feet, only for the superstar to respond with a warm hug.
