Pub scuffle was fabricated: Anjali

Anjali, who is making a comeback in Tamil films with Suraj – Jayam Ravi’s Appatakkar and Vemal’s Mappillai Singam, allegedly ran into an uninviting controversy on Friday by involving in a scuffle at a pub. A section of media reported the news and TV channel started airing it too a little later. Now, Anjali has trashed the reports and offers her side of story.

“On Friday, I had gone to Tabla restaurant with couple of my friends and their husbands. A few photographers approached me and requested to pose for photographs, but I politely refused as I was not there for professional work. In the next 15 minutes, I heard that some television channels were flashing headlines that I was drunk and had got into a brawl and the management had to call cops to intervene. Since I didn’t pose for photographs, they had fabricated this news,” says Anjali.
