Only Dhanush’s voice can give life to this heart-rending song: Yuvan

Director Kulandai Velappan of Yaakkai fame has revealed that it was Yuvan Shankar Raja who identified that Dhanush should be roped in for the song Solli Tholaiyenma in the film.

”Solli Tholaiyenma explains the mental plight of a boy longing for words from his love. When we are in search for the apt voice, Yuvan Shankar Raja strongly felt that only Dhanush’s voice can give life for this heart-rending song and hence we bonded Dhanush & Yuvan again. The well packed duo will make a perfect combo to make this song an all-time favorite,” says director Kulandai Velappan on the song. Yaakkai features Kreshna and Swathi Reddy in the lead roles and is currently under post-production.
