Super Subbarayan turns baddie in Karthi’s next

Super Subbarayan, one of the established stunt masters in the Indian film industry will play the villain role in Karthi’s upcoming film titled Komban. He is well-known as an action choreographer for films like Nedunchalai, Naan Kadavul, Amarkalam, Saamy and Gemini. Now, the veteran stunt master will take on Karthi Sivakumar in Komban which is directed by Muthaiah of Kutti Puli fame and produced by Studio Green.

Karthi plays the role of a rural lad. Lakshmi Menon is likely to play the female lead after alleged reports that Sri Divya of Varuthapadatha Vaaliabar Sangam fame demanded 50 lakhs as her salary and was eventually dropped. Raj Kiran who is gearing up for the release of Manja Pai plays Karthi’s father-in-law. The story is set in the backdrop of Ramanathapuram and a major part of the film will be canned there. The film also marks Yuvan’s fifth collaboration with Karthi after four successful albums Paiyyaa, Paruthiveeran, Naan Mahaan Alla and Biriyani.
