Abhirami to reprise Kanika’s role in ‘How Old Are You’ remake
Abhirami, who was last seen in Kamal Haasan’s Virumaandi, is the latest addition to the Tamil remake of Malayalam film How Old Are You. Abhirami plays Jyothika’s friend in the film. In the original, Kanika of Varalaaru and Five Star fame played Manju Warrier’s friend. Abhirami will be seen on screen after almost a decade in Tamil cinema. The team has recently shot the climax scene in New Delhi.
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Suriya’s homebanner 2D Entertainment, the film has Rahman playing Jyothika’s husband. It has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
