“You will not find any shades of Hollywood films in 24,” says Vikram Kumar

Vikram Kumar has opened up about Suriya’s 24 for the first time. “24 is a science fiction film. The story I conceived cannot happen in science. “What if it happens?” forms my plot,” says Vikram Kumar.

“A lot of English films have come in Hollywood in this genre. I have watched at least 50 best films in Hollywood in this genre to know how they handled it. But, you will not find any shades of those films in 24. Even if we add something from there, it gets unmasked and insulted by the people on the web on the release day itself. So we have avoided that copy paste work,” assures Vikram Kumar who is currently busy with the extensive post production work.

The latest update on the project is that Eros International has acquired the audio rights and is likely to present the film in Tamil Nadu.
