The makers of Atlee – Allu Arjun film, tentatively titled AA22xA6, are slowly unveiling the cast of what promises to be a grand cinematic venture. While Deepika Padukone was earlier confirmed, recent updates suggest that Yogi Babu has joined the shoot in Mumbai alongside Allu Arjun and Mrunal Thakur. Though there were earlier whispers about Mrunal and Rashmika Mandanna being involved, no official announcements had followed until now.
This marks Yogi Babu’s first on-screen collaboration with Allu Arjun. However, he has previously teamed up with director Atlee in films like Mersal, Bigil, and the Tamil version of Jawan. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi, though speculated, is reportedly not a part of this project.
The film, bankrolled by Sun Pictures, aims to push boundaries as a high-tech, pan-Indian action sci-fi spectacle. Reports also hint at Allu Arjun portraying four distinct roles. In a promotional video, Arjun and Atlee were seen working with Hollywood technicians from Ironhead Studio. Further global partnerships, including a potential tie-up with Connekkt Mobscene for marketing, are being discussed.
