Yet another meta film for Bobby Simha

Bobby Simha’s menacing performance in Karthik Subbaraj’s meta-film Jigarthanda made heads turns in K’town. His next film Masala Padam helmed by Laxman Kumar is also said to be a meta movie. “Film on films has become a new age concept which also become a greatly acknowledged genre by the audience. ‘Masala Padam’ is one such film getting ready on the lines of India’s prominent film genre ‘Masala movie’,” says Laxman.

“Mirchi Shiva who is whimsical  with his acting represents comedy, Bobby Simha who has been phenomenal with his variations in dialogue delivery  has been given minimal dialogues. His character is a rugged young man who approaches life in a heavier note,” adds Laxman.

Theater artist turned actor Lakshmi Devi is playing a pivotal role. Masala Padam is said to be a summer release.
