Yennai Arindhaal is postponed to January 29th. WHY?

Ajith – Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal has backed out from the Pongal race and been postponed for an official release on January 29th, a Thursday. The film, which was planned to set the box-office on fire and clash with Vikram – Shankar’s I, has cited post-production delay as the main reason. “The final post-production work is under progress. Still, some works are left to be done. We have completed all the talkie portions and song shoots though,” says AM Rathnam.

Meanwhile, Vishal’s Aambala and Vikram’s are the other films set to clash at the Pongal box-office as of now. There’s no firm confirmations from the makers of Karthi’s Komban and Sivakarthikeyan’s Kakki Sattai yet. Bankable sources say Komban has retreated from the Pongal race without mentioning any further date for release. Kakki Sattai is also reportedly said to have been pushed to a later date.
